Based on the information at hand, the program’s salient features are listed below:

Duration:
The 12-month internship gives graduates enough time to obtain real-world work experience.

It is not appropriate to submit applications straight to the Director General of Agriculture (Extension) office.

Important attributes and advantages:
Development of Skills:
Through fieldwork and on-the-job training, interns acquire critical abilities needed in the agriculture industry, including coordination, leadership, and communication.
Practical Experience:
In order to improve their employability, interns work with agro-based businesses and agricultural projects.
Agricultural Development:
To increase sector productivity, the program involves new talent in programs like the Green Tractor Scheme, Kisan Card, and other agricultural modernization initiatives.
Equitable Distribution:
To guarantee equitable participation, internship spots are distributed throughout Punjab’s districts according to population and agricultural footprint.
Monitoring:
To guarantee the program’s efficacy, an Urban Unit has been set up for real-time monitoring.
Extra Background:
Under Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, the program is a component of a larger range of agricultural programs, such as the Livestock Card, Green Tractor Scheme, Kisan Card, and Tube Well Solarization, all of which are intended to modernize agriculture and assist farmers.
With an emphasis on enhancing agricultural productivity in underprivileged districts, the project is in line with the Punjab government’s vision of “Maryam Nawaz ka Khwab – Sona Ugalta Punjab” (Maryam Nawaz’s Dream – A Punjab that Yields Gold).
The initiative has received recognition for its scope and aspirations from prominent individuals such as Senator Pervez Rasheed,
Provincial Ministers and Federal Advisor Rana Sanaullah were present at the launch event.
How to Use It:
- Check for announcements on departmental platforms and social media, or visit the official website.
- Examine the requirements and eligibility criteria before downloading the application.
- Fill out the form and send it to the Deputy Director of Agriculture (Extension) in your district together with the necessary paperwork (such as your ID card, degree certificate, and proof of residency).
