  • Medium Term Mine Planner Engineer 

Position Description

Responsibilities :

  • Actively encourage and demonstrate a culture of safety leadership.
  • Attend weekly safety mass meeting.
  • Delivering on monthly basis the 18-month rolling plan that is aligned with the budget and business strategy and provide direction to all stakeholders.
  • Ensure that up to date and signed off Master plan is available all the time to all stakeholders that reflects all the development requirements/needs outlined in the budget plan with amendments when required.
  • Design and continuously optimize level plans to be fit for purpose and ensure all designs are aligned with the master plan.
  • Ensure that any design changes are communicated to all stake holders.
  • Maintain all the mine planning procedures and memorandum, procedure for issuance, approval, and document control of Mine Planning Approvals.
  • To be proactive in alignment of mining schedule to GC drilling schedules.
  • Monitor, reconcile and track operational execution against mine plans, adjusting and rescheduling to ensure targets are achieved.
  • Identify, assess, and manage mine planning risks in order to improve reliability, quality and confidence of operational performance of the medium to long term planning process.
  • Implements processes, policies, systems, and practices within mine planning that contribute to effective mine planning.
  • Coordinate activities related to the execution of the strategy for the mine planning team and to ensure service and / or operating standards are met (internally and / or externally).
  • Offer strategic outlooks and cooperate with the Paste Fill Team to obtain the most efficient backfill plan.
  • Identify, assess, and manage risks to improve reliability, quality and confidence of operational performance of the medium-term planning process.
  • Complete economic assessments and stope notes to assist with drill and blast and other sections.
  • Ensure that the latest mineable shapes are available in timely manner all the time.
  • Developing a server data management system which ensures that all planning data are up to date, well organized and accessible to relevant users at all times but adequately secured to avoid inadvertent alteration or loss.
  • Ensure that designs are practical, economical and address all relevant standards.
  • Research information to support decision making and improve processes, technologies, or methodologies as they pertain to short and mid-range planning.
  • Advice, mentor, and assist other engineers with recommendations on planning issues regarding mine design/planning and operations as requested.
  • Positive interaction with the technical, operations, production, and mine management in their day-to-day activities.
  • Inspecting regularly underground openings areas, development, and stopes.
  • Actively seeks mentorship from Long-term planner and learning to improve product or technical knowledge and skill set.
  • Collaborates with senior Engineers to identify and analyze business requirements and the implications for the team; identifies gaps and implements agreed upon solutions.
  • Review the weekly, monthly, and other reports completed by short term planning engineers.
  • Take an active role in formulating and executing continuous improvement projects.
  • Acts as a change agent for key initiatives; models organizational values, sets the cultural tone, and prioritizes business goals.
  • Make sure the drill and blast, Geotech, ventilation, hydrogeology and backfill teams understand the mine plan and following the mining sequence and priorities.
  • Ensure the drill and blast receive the accurate stope solids.
  • Ensure that all the critical issues relating to the plan have been addressed and solved in a timely manner.
  • Develop a sense of continuous improvement, seek to streamline production planning process, and conduct improvement projects.
  • Work in compliance with ISO 14001 and 45001 Standards

Qualification Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Mining Engineering

Experience and Skills Requirements:

  • Strong experience of Deswik.CAD, Deswik.IS, Deswik.Sched
  • Strong team member and communication abilities
  • Strong report writing and presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access)
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in underground mine planning.
  • Experience of drill and blast methods and practices (bulk open stoping)
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in underground production.
  • Good knowledge of ventilation systems
  • Practical underground mining experience

Accommodation Lead

Location:

Reko Diq SITE – Balochistan

Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
  • Certification or training in accommodation management or similar disciplines is an advantage

Experience:

  • Minimum of 7 -8 years of experience in accommodation management, preferably in a remote mining or construction site environment.
  • At least 2 years of leadership experience in managing accommodation facilities or teams.

Requirements:

  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in using accommodation management software and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).

Construction Safety Supervisor

Location:

Reko Diq Mine Site – Balochistan

Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in occupational health & safety or relevant qualifications (desirable).
  • Any recognized Certificate or Diploma in OHS (e.g., NEBOSH, OHSAS, NASP, etc.).
  • Formal Accident Investigation Training (e.g., ICAM / Taproot / Loss Causation).

Experience:

  • Preferably operational experience in Health, Safety, Loss Prevention, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working in Construction / Resources industries.
  • Experience with writing procedures and standards – safety systems.

Requirements:

  • Advises line management and contractors regarding safety rules, regulation, trends, statistics and compliance with rules and policies.
  • Participate at the accident investigation, observations, Safety Leadership Interactions, Inspections, Safety meetings to assure that program are working as intended.
  • Assist line supervisor to have observations/Safety Interactions for their positions.
  • Conduct, manage and coordinate site Periodical Safety Inspections as per the planned schedule.
