The University of Health Sciences (UHS), Lahore, invites for admission in university of health sciences lahore online applications from eligible candidates for admission to the following undergraduate programs, Fall 2025, to be offered at the UHS Jinnah Campus, Kala Shah Kaku:

Eligibility Criteria:

i. Merit shall be calculated based on the HSSC PreMedical Part-I result. However, the candidate has to pass HSSC (Pre-Medical)
or equivalent examination with at-least 60% marks in aggregate.
ii. Candidate has passed UHS Undergraduate Admission Test (UGAT)-2025 with minimum 50% marks.

How To Apply:

Access to Application Portal

The applicant shall access the University’s online application portal at http://portals.uhs.edu.pk/ug-admission.

Account Registration:

The applicant shall create a user account using a valid email address and a selfgenerated password. A one-time verification code shall be sent to the provided email address, which must be entered to activate the account. Upon successful verification, the applicant shall gain access to the application system.

Completion of Application Form

The applicant shall accurately complete the online application form by providing all required information, including personal particulars, academic qualifications, uploading of requisite documents, and selection of the desired academic programs.

Program Selection and Fee Applicability:

The applicant may select one or more academic programs for admission. Each program selected shall be treated as an independent application and shall incur a separate processing fee, as specified in the system-generated challan form. The
applicant shall be considered separately for admission to each program selected.

Generation and Payment of Processing Fee

Prior to the final submission of the application, the applicant shall generate a challan form reflecting the applicable processing fees, which shall include a UGAT (Undergraduate Admission Test) fee of Rs. 3000/- and an admission processing fee of Rs. 1000/- per selected program. All fees shall be non-refundable. The applicant
must deposit the fee through an online payment system or designated bank branches prior to the application deadline.

Uploading of Paid Challan Slip

The applicant shall upload the picture of paid challan slip on the online application portal. Editing of the application form after the submission of the fee is strongly discouraged. Any post-fee modification to the application shall necessitate the payment of the processing fee afresh.

Verification of Entered Data

The applicant shall review and verify the accuracy and completeness of the entered data and uploaded documents by downloading a copy of the completed application form

Final Submission

Upon confirmation that all information and attachments are complete and accurate, the applicant shall make the final submission of the application. A confirmation notification shall be sent to the applicant’s registered email address. No further edits
to the application form shall be permissible after the final submission.

FORMAT OF UHS-UGAT-2025:

UHS Undergraduate Admission Test (UGAT)-2025 shall consist of a single paper consisting of 100 MCQs, divided into the following four sections:
English-25 MCQs, Biology-25 MCQs, Chemistry- 25 MCQs, and Physics- 25 MCQs
Time allowed for the test is two hours. The test shall start at 10:00 AM and conclude at 12:00 Noon on Sunday, 3rd August, 2025.

MERIT CALCULATION:

The weightage criteria for calculation of merit for admission shall be as follows:
SSC/Equivalent – 10%
HSSC Pre-Medical Part-I / Equivalent – 40%
UHS-UGAT-2025 – 50%

PROGRAM SELECTION AND ADMISSION FINALITY CLAUSE:

1. A candidate may apply for admission to one or more Programs. Consequently, his/her name may appear in the merit lists of multiple Programs. It shall be the sole discretion of the candidate to secure admission by depositing the prescribed fee for any one of the
Programs of choice within the stipulated deadline. Failure to deposit the fee within the due date for any Program in which the candidate’s name appears in a merit list shall result in forfeiture of the right to admission in that Program, and no claim in this regard shall be
entertained thereafter.
2. If a candidate secures admission in a Program by timely payment of the prescribed fee, and subsequently his/her name appears in the merit list of another Program, he/she may opt to transfer to the latter Program by submitting a written request to the University for
transfer of fee within the notified deadline and by depositing any balance amount due, if applicable.
3. Under no circumstances shall the candidate be permitted to revert to the previously allotted Program once the transfer has been effected.

Important Instructions:

  • Incomplete applications or those submitted in violation of the prescribed procedure shall be rejected. The candidate shall be required to upload all mandatory documents, including: the
    candidate’s own CNIC or B-Form, a recent passport-size photograph, the CNIC of the father, Secondary School Certificate (SSC) result card or certificate, Higher Secondary
    School Certificate (HSSC) Pre-Medical Part-I result card, and domicile certificate. All documents must be uploaded in the prescribed image format and shall not exceed the file size limit of one (01) mb per document. The uploaded documents must be complete, clear, and legible in all respects.
  • Candidates shall apply on the basis of their HSSC Part-I result but conformation of admission is subject to the provision of the complete HSSC Pre-Medical exam result (Part-I
    and Part-II) or equivalent. Provisional admission of the candidates who fail to score minimum 60% marks in HSSC Pre-Medical or equivalent exam will be cancelled.
  • After submission of online application, the candidates are not required to submit the hard copy/ printout of application to the University.
  • Admission shall be granted on an open merit basis only.
  • All merit lists shall be displayed on UHS official website (www.uhs.edu.pk).
  • Those having foreign qualifications (A-Level, 12th Grade, etc.) must upload equivalence certificate issued by IBCC.
  • The syllabi and prescribed fee structure of the programs are available on UHS website: www.uhs.edu.pk.
